The Samuel Victor Constant Endowment was established to promote graduate level study of the American colonial period by funding historical research conducted by scholars holding or pursing a Masters or Doctoral degree. The General Society jointly funds this program with State Societies. SCWNC is responsible for annual program management and has established a relationship with the Department of History at UNC-Chapel Hill to provide grants and scholarships. The Endowment matches our contributions to establish a Fund in perpetuity.
